Easy 4 Ingredients Raspberry Dessert

I don't know about you, but for me, the end of August doesn't really mean the end of summer. I refuse to give up summer.
Although I really enjoy the beautiful views autumn gives us, with those beautiful leaves falling, I am not ready to say goodbye to summer.   So, let me tell you about this delicious and easy 4 ingredients  raspberry dessert.

This is a very easy recipe, so you really don't need any baking or cooking skills.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 200 gr sugar
- 350 gr fresh raspberries
- 2 egg whites
- the juice from a half lemon
- pinch of salt

Wash the raspberries and mingle them with half the sugar. I always like to wash the fruits. My raspberry garden is in a low polluted place, but there are always little earth creatures around there. And I really don't want them in my dessert.
I use a fork to make sure that the raspberries are crushed as I like them to be. You can crush them as much as you want. Take a look at the picture below how I make them.

Using the mixer, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt, and then gradually add the rest of the sugar.
When this composition is whisked enought, slowly add the raspberries and then the lemon juice.
Continue mixing everything for about 5 minutes at medium speed.

You can taste it as soon as it's done. But I recommend putting it in the freezer for about one hour. It's super refreshing!
Don't get scared if you see that initially, your raspberry dessert will look more like a cream. It will stiffen once you put it into the freezer. This happens because of the sugar. If we would use more sugar, the cream would be more firm. But I really think that the cream is sweet enough like this, and it doesn't need more sugar.

See how easy it is? If you are in the mood for something sweet and delicious, but not in the mood to bake in these heats,
you should really give this a try.

I really like making this easy 4 ingredients raspberry dessert during summer. I love using fresh raspberries on any occasion I can. Frozen raspberries can be used too, but in my opinion fresh fruits are better.

    1. I will make a future post, explaining how to transform the measurements. Until then, for this recipe you will need: 8.8 oz sugar and 12.3 oz fresh raspberries.
