Chocolate mousse for diabetics
This recipe is for those with diabetes. My father has diabetes and he loves cakes. I know how hard it is to make something tasty and he can only have one little piece of it. I searched many recipes and tried many of them. I will share some recipes with you. If you have someome you love and he or she has diabetes, it will be much easier for you to make something tasty and still healthy and safe for them.
The ingredients you need are:
- 260 gr unsweetened whipped cream
- 6 spoons unsweetened chocolate siroup
- 2 spoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1 little sachet of gelatine (aprox. 20gr)
- 240 ml cold water
Put the water in a small pot and add the gelatine. Leave it like that for 1 minute. Put the pot on low heat, and heat the water for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until gelatine dissolves. Take the pot off the stove and let the composition cool.
Add the cocoa and the siroup stirring well. Don`t use the electric mixer, it`s better if you use a wooden spoon/spatula.
Beat the cream and add it to the composition. Your chocolate mousse is ready. Share the mousse in glasses or any containers that you want, and put it in the fridge for about two hours, until it hardens.
If you want to make it more good-looking, put on top of every glass some whiped cream. Enjoy
