Cheese dumplings

You know those moments when you`re crawling for something sweet, but not too sweet? And you`re too lazy to bake an actual cake? Try these cheese dumplings. I made them last Sunday. It was a rainy day, so I wasn't` in the mood to prepare anything that would take me a long time. But I still had to make something because I really had a sweet tooth.

Enough with the chit-chat. Here is what you need:
- 250 gr fresh cheese
- 1 big egg, or 2 small ones
- 3 spoons semolina flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1 spoon flour
- 2 spoons butter

How to make the dip in the dumplings
Mingle well the cheese with the egg/eggs, semolina flour, salt, and flour. From the resulted composition, form the dumplings. You have to make them small and round, slightly flattened and with a dip in the middle (there you`ll put the stuffing). You can make the dip with your finger, as in the picture.

Now, put some water with salt to boil (aprox. 3l). Put the dumplings in the boiling water, and let them there until they rise to the surface. Then, let them boil for another 8-10 minutes at low heat. Take them out when they`re done and let the cool on absorbent paper.
Heat the butter in a pan, and fry a little the cheese dumplings until they get a nice golden color. They're done.

Now, about the stuffings. You can use anything you want or anything that comes to your mind: jam, some cream, pudding, Finetti or even put some fruits on top. Enjoy :)
