This is another cheese cake that I love, and it`s with raisins. There are some people who don`t like raisins. If you are one of them, you can still make this cake, just don`t put the raisins in it. The cake is tasty without raisins too. For this cake, instead of the basic cake, we will use cake sheets.
The ingredients you need for the cake sheets are:
- 4 egg yolks
- 125 butter
- 250 gr flour
- 20 gr yeast ( with 50 ml milk, 2 spoons sugar)
- zest from 1 lemon
If you don`t know how to prepare the yeast, I will have another post to explain that.
So, you just mingle well all these ingredients, and then bake 2 cake sheets.
For the cheese cream, you need:
- 500 gr cheese
- 200 powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 100 gr raisins
- 2 spoons flour
- 4 egg whites
First, beat the egg whites with the sugar, and then slowly add the rest of the ingredients. Just put the cream between the two cake sheets, and your cheese cake with raisins is done.
Regarding the raisins, you can put as much as you want. 100 gr is a moderate quantity. If you like raisins a lot, you can put more. And if you don`t like them at all, as I said before just don`t put any raisins in the cake.
